I’ve been a fan of Stefano Bollani for years. A genius Italian pianist! He mixed classical, jazz and improvisation. His playing is free and uninhibited sometimes against the absurd. In the video below two blockbusters mixed together. Mozart’s Rondo Alla Turca (Turkish March) and Tico Tico by the Brazilian composer Zequinha de Abreu. Pay particular attention to the orchestral musicians in the background. They are perplexed!
